Originally designed by brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Panier coffee table was the first object to be signed by for Kartell. Comprised of four modules to form the four fourths of a shiny, transparent circle bursting into rays of light. The fourths are attached to each other using opaque joints and stability is achieved simply by using inserts. Made from polycarbonate, Panier coffee table is a container which can be closed on one side with a removable lid. It can be used as a coffee table also as a magazine rack. A highlight item for the interiors where the modern touch is required.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, born 1971 and 1976 respectively, in Quimper, France, both studied at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the École des Beaux-Arts in Cergy-Pontoise. Their career took off in 1997 when Giulio Cappellini discovered their work and offered to manufacture two of their designs: Closed Bed and Spring Chair. They officially founded their own firm in 1999. Their work ranges from functional pieces for the home, to architecture in the Maison flottante (Floating House) and the Kvadrat showroom in Stockholm. Today, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec design for numerous manufacturers, including Vitra, Kartell, Ligne Roset and Cappellini. Their work has garnered international awards and has been the subject of several museum exhibitions.

Place is a Sydney based team, so the delivery lead time may be a little bit longer for the areas outside Sydney, but we believe that our product is worth your patience. Base on your purchase(s), we use different freight carriers to deliver our products. All items in stock will be dispatched within 3 business days and delivery lead times are as follows:
- Sydney Metro within 7 working days.
- Outside Sydney between 3 and 10 working days.
- Remote locations (including Hobart and Cairns) between 10 and 15 working days.
Place will doing the best to make sure your purchases are under perfect condition when they arrive to you. But in very rare cases, if you receive a faulty or damaged item, we require you to send us the evidence of the damage/fault such as photographic or video footage within 24 hours via email to [email protected]. So we highly recommend you to inspect the item(s) as soon as you receive it (them), it is the customers’ responsibility to adhere to our claims process including providing proof of damages and arranging for products to be returned for inspection. Any damages or faults reported after 24 hours will be treated as a warranty claim and the customers will be solely liable for the shipment cost in the claim process.
All items must be in original wrappings and packaging and not assembled or part assembled in any way.

The item need to be returned within SEVEN days of purchase as long as the item is in exactly the same condition as when purchased. All items must be in original wrappings and packaging and not assembled or part assembled in any way.
Prior to returning goods, customers need to fill in a Return Authorization Form (please send email to sales[email protected] to request) and get Place Furniture’s approval, any unauthorized return will not be accepted.
It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that returned items are returned safely. Place Furniture takes no responsibility for lost goods and the customers will be solely liable for the shipment cost of the return.
Custom Made Items
Buyer has the responsibilities to ensure custom ordered items are what they are after. We do not offer a refund for custom ordered products due to change of mind. All lead times quoted are an approximation and Place Furniture takes no responsibility for production or customs delays.
Place Furniture provides a 12 month warranty on all products (unless otherwise stated in product detail page). Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use, damage arising from abnormal use, not properly maintained and being modified goods. Place Furniture has the ultimate discretion to obtain proof of purchase and any further information to decide on warranty outcomes. Products will be repaired or replaced, depending on product circumstances and it is solely at Place Furniture’s discretion.
Contact us if you want to cancel your order, we will do a full refund if the items are still not being dispatched from our warehouse, if otherwise, shipping cost will not be included with the refund.
