Mario Bellini is internationally renowned as an architect and designer. He has received the Golden Compass Award eight times, and other prestigious architecture awards including the Medaglia d’oro awarded by the President of Italian Republic for his contribution to furthering design and architecture in the world (2004) and the Ambrogino d’oro for civic merit awarded by the City of Milan (2011).
Mario has given talks in many of the world’s great cultural centres and was the editor of the magazine Domus from 1985 to 1991. 25 of his works were permanently collected by the New York Museum of Modern Art, which dedicated a personal retrospective to him in 1987.
He has held countless art, design and architecture exhibitions over the years, both in Italy and abroad. Since the 1980’s, dedicating himself almost entirely to architecture, the manifold projects he has designed include the Portello Trade Fair district in Milan, the Villa Erba Exhibition Centre in Cernobbio (Como), the Tokyo Design Centre in Japan, the Natuzzi America Headquarters in the United States, the Essen Expo Centre in Germany, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, the headquarters of the Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, etc.

Base on your purchase(s), we use different freight carriers to deliver our products. All items in stock will be dispatched within 3 business days and delivery lead times are as follows:

- Outside Sydney between 3 and 10 working days.
- Remote locations (including Hobart and Cairns) between 10 and 15 working days.

So we highly recommend you to inspect the item(s) as soon as you receive it (them), it is the customers’ responsibility to adhere to our claims process including providing proof of damages and arranging for products to be returned for inspection. Any damages or faults reported after 24 hours will be treated as a warranty claim and the customers will be solely liable for the shipment cost in the claim process.

It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that returned items are returned safely. Place Furniture takes no responsibility for lost goods and the customers will be solely liable for the shipment cost of the return.
Custom Made Items
Buyer has the responsibilities to ensure custom ordered items are what they are after. We do not offer a refund for custom ordered products due to change of mind. All lead times quoted are an approximation and Place Furniture takes no responsibility for production or customs delays.
Place Furniture provides a 12 month warranty on all products (unless otherwise stated in product detail page). Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use, damage arising from abnormal use, not properly maintained and being modified goods. Place Furniture has the ultimate discretion to obtain proof of purchase and any further information to decide on warranty outcomes. Products will be repaired or replaced, depending on product circumstances and it is solely at Place Furniture’s discretion.
Contact us if you want to cancel your order, we will do a full refund if the items are still not being dispatched from our warehouse, if otherwise, shipping cost will not be included with the refund.
